The film is bizarre for several reasons. The plot involves a dominatrix who picks up a male hitchhiker and kidnaps him. She takes him to a reclusive house in the woods and proceeds to commit various acts of sadism along with a whole group of sadists (many of whom resemble hippies). Ultimately, these are all experiments for a mad sex researcher and his Wilhelm Reich-style invention. The ending is particularly violent. "The Bizarre Ones" drags, is poorly made, and features only post-dubbed sound. However, its surreal enough to warrant a viewing from fans of this brand of schlock.
