CHERRY HILL HIGH is a nice, friendly, jovial film about five virginal girls who decide to shuck off their maidenheads and become sluts in the weirdest, most perverse way they can. This is all sanctioned by their teacher, who is ostensibly chaperoning them on a bike holiday.

If this film was made today, there'd have to be some weighty lesson about the consequences of looseness and the teacher would be a shining beacon of morality instead of a horny enabler. There would be crying, lessons would be learned and Dominique Swain would probably play one of the girls. All of which is fundamentally dishonest, since we're just watching for the grace of boobs. 

There's no such illusions about your average '70s sexploitationer, a tradition into which this film fits quite snugly. The main thought when making this appears to have been, "Which off-the-wall sexual fantasies can we cram into the running time? And how often can we get the girls naked?" It's honest, direct and really a lot of fun. The girls are all cute and uninhibited, the jokes are as corny as they are horny and everything speeds along at an agreeable pace. A streamlined, sleek slab of softcore wackiness, this one.
